Professional vision in diagnosing visual problem-solving strategies for graphs in physics and medicine (C02)

C02 focuses on fostering professional vision and processing strategies by using eye-tracking data in the context of graph comprehension of final-year medical students and pre-service physics teachers. In two validation studies and three experimental studies, learners’ gaze data will be used as indicators of learning prerequisites and learning processes and, thus, as an adjustment base for personalised learning process scaffolding. The learning process scaffolding supporting learners’ diagnosis will be implemented in the form of an adaptive presentation of gaze patterns.
