Biology
Term
from 2001 to 2012
Project identifier
Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) - Project number 5484845
13 groups are involved in research on neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington, and prion diseases at the university of Munich, the Max-Planck Institute for Biochemisty, and the Max-Planck-Institute for Psychiatry. All projects focus on molecular mechanisms of human neurodegenerative disorders using tissue culture systems or animal models such as transgenic mice, zebrafish, and Caenorhabditis elegans.
